JAN ATTAINED HER DIPLOMA IN HOLISTIC AROMATHERAPY (TDHA) in the early 80"s from the author, researcher and teacher Robert Tisserand. JAN THEN WENT ON TO STUDY SPIRITUAL HEALING with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers. For over twenty-five years Jan has been a fully certified NFSH member.
RECENTLY THE NFSH HAS FORMALLY authorized NFSH (Healing in America). This is a professional association in the U.S with certification in spiritual healing. Jan's long tenure as a full NFSH member makes her uniquely qualified among Healers in the US
JAN RELOCATED TO NEW MEXICO FROM SOUTHERN IRELAND AND has a diploma in Natural Health Therapies from the Scherer Institute in Santa Fe, NM. She is a Licenced Massage and Bodworker (LMBT) with the State of New Mexico.
Jan continues to acquire up to date information and massge techniques and recently trained with the Ben Benjamin Institute and certified in Orthopedic Bio-mechanics. Jan is able to help relieve pain and tension by using these massage techniques.
OTHER HEALING MODALITIES Jan is certified in are accupressure, nutrition, myofascial bodywork, lymph drainage and connective tissue therapy.
Having been diagnosed with arthritis at age 8, my stomach no longer tolerates anti-inflammatory prescription drugs after years of continuous use. Rather than turn to more dangerous prescription alternatives, I have tried to manage the pain with therapeutic massage for the past 7 years. In that time I have experienced a spectrum of therapists.
